Installation is straightforward and hassle-free. Following the placement of an 8" x 8" x 16" concrete block atop pier footings, determine the gap size between the pier and beam. This measurement dictates the number and size of shims required (minimum of 2 inches), maintaining a clearance of less than 1 inch between pier top and beam bottom.
