Tie Down's Swivel Tie Plate Assembly offers a versatile and secure solution for fastening tie straps in various applications. Designed with ease of use in mind, this assembly allows for flexible installation methods, ensuring a reliable connection between the tie strap and the structure. The Swivel Tie Plate Assembly provides two installation options for the tie strap. You can either bolt the strap with the swivel to the end or slide the strap through the swivel connector and crimp it to fit securely. The Tie Plate attaches to the floor at the wall plate and angles down the side of the rim joist, creating a strong and reliable connection. Fasten it with either 0.131 x 1-½ in. nails or 8 x 1-½ in. screws, ensuring at least 50% of the pre-punched holes in the strap are filled. Each assembly includes all the necessary components for easy installation, including the swivel connector, tie plate, bolt, two washers, and a nyloc nut. The Swivel Tie Plate Assembly is engineered for strength, offering either a 2,000 lb. or 3,150 lb. capacity. Also, you can choose from the 10 gauge zinc swivel strap connector only or the 6 in. x 8 in. tie plate only, available in either 12 gauge zinc or 14 gauge galvanized steel.
